The live Scottish Premiership match between Kilmarnock and Celtic sees Sky Sports become the world's first live sports broadcaster to run a live production on GREEND+ fuel. These changes are part of Sky Zero, the 10 year plan to be net zero carbon by 2030.

Tonight’s SPFL game live on Sky Sports will be broadcast using a generator that is running on GREEND+ which is a Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil. This is a form of renewable diesel that has been produced from food waste products and reduces our carbon emissions by 90 per cent. After a number of tests, we are the world’s first live sports broadcaster to run on GREEND+ fuel. We are pleased to roll this out in Scotland as they are leading the UK on renewable energy innovation.  Throughout 2021, Sky Sports will be looking to switch the rest of their outside broadcasts over to this fuelSky Sports
