Business Support Manager

Department: Commercial

Reports to: Managing Director

Background

At Green Biofuels, our mission is to reduce CO2 and improve air quality by replacing diesel with advanced fuels made from renewable organic waste. We have developed GreenD+, the cleanest advanced fuel on the market, which reduces Greenhouse Gas emissions by 90%, particulates by 85% and Nitrous Oxide by 30%.

 

We supply GreenD+ to some of the UK’s best-known companies, helping them track their carbon reductions and achieve their sustainability goals. Our business is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a full time Business Support Manager to join us.

Key deliverables (Essential duties and responsibilities)

Reporting to Managing Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining company filing systems and records;

  • Submission of reports and data to regulatory and external bodies;

  • Production of management reports and information regarding the performance of the business;

  • Supporting the operations department in the management of suppliers;

  • Monitoring performance against service level agreements and other performance targets;

  • Supporting the rollout and operation of GBF’s fixed asset portfolio;

  • Manage specific projects within the company as they arise;

  • Ensure the effective implementation of management policies and decisions;

  • Supporting management in the day to day operations of the business.

 

Requirements

You will be part of a small team and will be in daily contract with our suppliers and customers. We are looking to hire someone who:

  • Organised and good attention to detail;

  • Comfortable working in a small team;

  • Is articulate and confident representing the company;

  • Comforatble making recommendations and providing feedback to management;

  • Has an interest in the green economy;

  • Has experience in a similar position;

  • Is adaptable, resilient and prepared to grow with the role.
     

The role will initially be based from home, relocating to our offices close to Andover when circumstances allow.

Sales Support Executive

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

Key deliverables (Essential duties and responsibilities)

Reporting to Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the COO and Sales Manager;

  • Provision of information to prospective and actual customers;

  • Management of sales database;

  • Drafting tender applications; and responses;

  • Researching and investigating potential target customers.

  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems

  • Review pending orders and specific customers’ requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience

  • Suggest sales process improvements

  • Maintaining regular contact with customers, to drive relationships forward.

  • New business order processing.

  • Participating in client review meetings and presenting on client specific activity

 

Requirements
You will be part of a small team and will be in daily contract with our suppliers and customers. We are looking to hire someone who:

  • An organised, systematic approach to prioritise and keep on top of daily tasks with a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers.

  • Flexible in order to meet client needs.

  • Ability to work both independently and under instruction.

  • Proven work experience as a Sales support specialist or Sales support associate

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel

  • In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Analytical and multitasking skills

  • Strong track record in sales and customer services with ability to hit targets and KPI’s.

  • Is articulate and confident representing the company

  • Comfortable working in a small team;

  • Has an interest in the green economy;

  • Is adaptable, resilient and prepared to grow with the role.
