Alex has a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and joined Green Biofuels in 2022, after spending 9 years working in the oil & gas industry at ExxonMobil. His supply chain and manufacturing leadership experience is fundamental in driving GBF’s mission to continue to develop simple, yet effective solutions which help our customers decarbonise and transition to a more sustainable future.

Clare Biles
Customer Support Assistant
Clare provides a high level of organisational and relationship support to our customers, assisting the Customer Support Lead to ensure GBF products are distributed and maintained effectively.

Toshko Botev
Financial controller
Toshko has over 10 years Commercial Finance experience from the City of London. Prior joining Green Biofuels Limited he managed financial, regulatory and compliance affairs, and led process optimisation projects at Otkritie Capital International Limited, a Macquarie-backed supply chain finance start-up, TFP Ltd, and Bibby Financial Services. Toshko graduated a BSc in Economics at D.A. Tsenov, and an MSc in International Tourism Development at the University of Ulster, where he researched and wrote articles on sustainable development.

Sam Bull
Business Support Manager
With 20+ years’ experience in customer service and management. Sam not only provides internal HR support across the business but ensures a high level of quality and compliance as well as customer service is consistently maintained. Outside of work Sam enjoys walking her two dogs Milo & Molly and quality time with family & friends.

CHLOE BUNGAY

Chloe is a Key Account Manager, her role is to work to develop strong relationships with key customers, and work closely with terminal operators, and haulage companies to arrange the collection and distribution of GD+. Chloe has a keen interest in cooking, and when she’s not at work she spends her time walking her dog Ruby, and spending time with friends and family.

RUBY CAmpbell

Ruby joined Green Biofuels in 2022 as a customer support assistant, and now manages our customer accounts across Ireland. She works closely with hauliers and terminal operators, ensuring all our customer requirements are met within a timely manner. Ruby also ensures that GBF products are distributed and maintained effectively throughout the Republic of Ireland.

Credit controller
Having worked in finance for around 10 years, Sophie’s work helps to maintain close relationships with our customers, ensuring their accounts are up to date and assisting with any queries. Her role also includes obtaining credit insurance for customers and various Purchase Ledger tasks to assist her colleagues.

Assistant accountant
Amy provides valuable assistance to the Accounts Department with invoicing across all aspects of the business. This includes queries which Amy loves to problem solve. With 3 years’ accounting experience, Amy also has a Level 3 AAT advanced diploma in accounting. In her spare time, she really enjoys gardening and loves all the beautiful flowers and wildlife in her garden. As well as trying her hand at artwork, walking and sports to keep fit.

With 20 years’ experience in the oil industry, Leesa made the move to sustainable fuels to further her knowledge in this exciting new area of the fuel market. She has substantial experience in various aspects including Finance, Sales and Operations as well as Contract and Performance Management. Leesa’s core focus at GBF is Terminal Operations, which is a fast growing and interesting area of the business, where no two days are ever the same.

With 19 years’ experience working in front facing customer support and service roles, Charlotte has perfected assessing the customers requirements and meeting their needs from valuable experience working in the public and private sector. Charlotte enjoys going above and beyond to build long standing relationships with her customers ensuring they are comfortable to contact her for any additional needs or requirements.

Katie is an integral member to the Logistics Team, as an admin assistant, she manages day to day admin tasks, and provides fundamental support to the Key Account Manager. Outside of work, Katie enjoys cooking, dog walks, and outdoor activities such as paddle boarding.

Abby Goddard
Projects & Facilities Manager
Abby provides an invaluable multi-faceted support to the business, providing key facilities management by overseeing the day to day running of the GBF Head Office and FM projects on behalf of the business. Abby also provides a high-level of administrative support as Executive Assistant to Board Executives, managing business-related event planning and coordination.
A real people person, Abby provides valuable wellbeing support to all the GBF Team. Being adventurous and enjoying outdoor thrill-seeking activities. Enthusiastic classical books reader, relish insightful conversation and a glass of bubbly in the evenings

Magnus Hammick
COO
Magnus Hammick is COO of GBF Ltd. He leads a dedicated team that is developing world class clean fuels. A highly skilled entrepreneur, he has worked in the sustainable sector for over 10 years, his clients include Skanska, Sky TV. Previously he consulted the steel industry in developing low carbon solutions to waste materials. He was instrumental in developing audio gel technologies into the consumer electronics sectors with clients like Apple and developed the revolutionary glass splash-back as a young designer with industry giants Sangoband and Pilkingtons. Originally an art graduate from Oxford University he has a creative and unique take on how the world works and is passionate about making a significant difference to air quality in the race to net zero.

Richard Heard
Business Development Manager
Richard started his business life at Shell before working in several different areas of the UK distribution industry (Exolum, Vopak, Stolt Shipping and the MOD). He joined GBF in 2021 to concentrate on marine sales of HVO (GD+). He very much hopes to help improve air quality and carbon reduction in the main Inland Waterways and River Estuaries of the UK.

Amy provides valuable administrative support to the key account managers; this includes monitoring inboxes, processing fuel orders and helping to maintain good working relationships with our customers. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her horse, Winnie and exploring new places. She loves an adventure and also has a keen interest in climbing both indoors and outdoors - she hopes to hike the Rocky Mountains sometime in the near future.

Julian spent the last 30 years in the oil industry working as petroleum geologist and in customer contracting and market risk management, he has his GARP SCR and ERP qualifications and is passionate about sustainable delivery and the energy transition.

With 18+ years of experience in oil majors and specialist oil suppliers, Ged takes a hands-on approach in assessing client's requirements and is committed to providing the complete solution to help you decarbonise your fleet, improve air quality and assist in your transition to new technologies.

Finn is responsible for the monitoring of certain deliveries in both the post and pre-stage. He deals with administrative work regarding P.O.D’s in relation to GBF and haulier customer service.

Paul Mills

Paul’s background is financing and managing companies in the resources sector. He trained as a banker, working at ANZ in London and Sydney, later running the commodities desk at ING London. He worked in commodity trading companies for 10 years, both in finance and commercial roles, managing physical trade flows, investments, operating businesses and risk. He has often worked with fast growing companies and has led several acquisitions and integrations. Most recently he was CFO of a £250M industrial resources business.

Outside of work, as a former dancer, she enjoys fitness and hopes to be able to go on long hiking trips to raise money for charity.

Yuri's role at GBF includes data analysis, sustainability market research, process mapping & improving operational resilience. He has a master’s in chemistry from the University of Brighton and has competed in the Youth Commonwealth games. Yuri's experience comes from a variety of industries from Finance to Manufacturing, from small businesses to large business; PepsiCo and RBC. "I have an enthusiasm for programming and Data. Moreover, I also have a strong passion for science, music and working towards a more sustainable future."

Jessica joined GBF following a role at an accountancy firm. As finance assistant Jessica works in the accounts team where she invoices customers, monitors customer queries through the sales ledger mailbox, delivers exports to Ireland invoicing and many other tasks that are crucial to GBF's delivery.

William Tebbit
CEO
Following an 18-year career in the City of London where William was head of UK M&A at West LB, he then worked in the real world as CEO of businesses in the UK and UAE. He was a founding partner of a Trade Finance Business that was funded by Macquarie Bank Limited to whom he sold his interests in 2015. He then became involved in renewable energy assets building, funding and selling 25MW of assets to a major industrial group in 2017.
