Green Biofuels Limited – in Administration (“the Company”)

On 2 October 2023, the Company entered Administration and Lucy Winterborne, Kristopher Stewart Aspin and Alan Michael Hudson of Ernst & Young LLP were appointed as Joint Administrators. The appointment was made by the Qualifying Floating Charge Holder under the provisions of Paragraph 14 of Schedule B1 to the Insolvency Act 1986.

Customers

The Company continues to trade to allow a purchaser to be found for its business and assets. The Company’s existing staff will be working closely with a member of the Administrator’s team in relation to the continued provision of goods and services during this time.

Please note that debts incurred by the Company before our appointment will classify as claims against the Company.

Who is involved in the sales process/ how long will a sale take
The Administrators have instructed a team to lead the marketing process for the Company. If you are aware of any potential interested parties, please direct them to Will Gaskell at wgaskell@uk.ey.com. Given the confidentiality of the sales process, we are unable to provide a further update at this time, however, you will be notified when the process reaches a key milestone.

Will we get paid for services/goods provided from now on?

Can I cancel my contract?

Who should we correspond with going forwards?
All letters, invoices and outgoing correspondence will refer to the Administrators appointment and any orders going forward will need to bear the signature of one of the Joint Administrators, or one of their representatives. Nevertheless, please continue to liaise with your usual contact at the Company.

Lucy Winterborne and Alan Hudson are licensed in the United Kingdom to act as insolvency practitioners, by The Insolvency Practitioners Association. Kris Aspin is licensed in the United Kingdom to act as an insolvency practitioner by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.


The Joint Administrators may act as data controllers of personal data as defined by the UK General Data Protection Regulation (as incorporated in the Data Protection Act 2018), depending upon the specific processing activities undertaken.
